Meet Your Physical Therapist
Next, you will have an initial assessment with a physical therapist. During this assessment, your therapist will ask you about your medical history, current pain, or injury, so please be open and honest in your responses. Open communication is key in helping us understand your specific problem better and providing you with the most effective treatment.
Physical Assessment
Your physical therapist will assess your movement, strength, coordination, and other factors that may be relevant to your treatment. Our ultimate goal is to help you feel better, so please don’t hesitate to communicate with our therapist if you experience any pain or discomfort during the examination. Your feedback is crucial in guiding your treatment plan and ensuring a positive outcome.
Create a Treatment Plan
After evaluating your condition, your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan to promote a speedy recovery and optimal outcomes. While certain treatments may be administered on the first day to initiate the healing process, your comprehensive treatment plan will be fully implemented during your follow-up visit to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Schedule Follow Up Visits
Once your session with the therapist concludes, you will be able to schedule a series of follow-up visits at our front desk. The frequency and duration of these therapy sessions will be determined based on your doctor’s prescription and the recommendations of your therapist.
Submit a Plan to The Referring Physician
Your therapist will ensure that the evaluation and treatment plan are submitted to your referring physician or any other medical professional you prefer. This step ensures proper coordination and communication between your therapy team and other healthcare providers involved in your care.
